I am a wife to an amazing husband & mom to a beautiful daughter! My heart has always been filled with a passion to help and care for others. As a child I knew I wanted to be in the healthcare field and have been now for over 10 years.

While in nursing school, my clinical rotation opened my eyes to why Maternal Care was one of the top three areas that interested me. Seeing the urgent need for care, advocacy, attention, and education that these moms needed but did not receive was heartbreaking. The steady rise of African American death rates during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, and also the pregnant teens with little to no support fueled my fire to become a Doula.

Women should have control of their birth and have it the way they wish. My goal is to help as many moms as possible have a respected, positive, educated, and empowered birth! I also plan to one day become a Midwife!
